WOO HOO! I have a new FO to report. The Jaywalkers are finally FINISHED!!! Even after frogging back the first foot all the way to the heel flap... I struggled with that decision for a while let me tell you! I wasn't happy with the looseness in the arch of the first sock and when I found an error in the heel it was just the last straw that pushed me to frog. It was a good exercise because it allowed me to finish the pair using the two socks on two cirular method - something I'm DEFINATELY going to do again. No more single socks!! I also came up with an interesting fix for that loose arch area too - a small section of 2x2 ribbing. It made the arch nice and snug without actually making anything smaller (Jaywalkers are NOT stretchy). Since it is on the arch area that doesn't get a lot of pressure, it doesn't bother the foot -at least not MY foot. I sure hope the recipient has similar shaped feet!!! The other half of this sock gift is also nearing completion - I have finished the gusset on the second Gentleman's Fancy Sock. These two pairs of socks were promised to friends of mine when they got married last August! I guess they'll be a lovely anniversary gift at this rate :)

Here's my latest WIP... a lovely linen hand towel (a la Mason Dixon). This lovely item is for my Mom - hopefully I'll be able to finish before I visit in July!

Those jaywalkers look great! The colorway is very punchy and shows off the pattern nicely. Let me know how the hand towels come out. I would like to make some for gifts as well.
Wow - You did it! And they look great. Awesome job. BTW, I love that Sweet Georgia yarn you got. So jealous!
I love how the Jaywalkers came out! Also, great pix of the lovely yellow colorway, but it looks so awesome and subtle in person!
