Flying out, Alaska had no problem with my needles. Flying back into the US was a different story, which I find funny considering I fly all over inside the US with the SAME CARRIER. They wanted to take my needles away (I'm doing it toe up and I'm well past my ankle!) but in my broken Spanish I explained my trauma so the nice security gentlemen let me go back through security and check it into my checked luggage. I guess you never know! My greed for those 2 hours of knitting time over-ruled my caution ;)
To keep it knitting related, here I am working on my Kat Bordi sock, the Coriolus Sock with the whirlpool toe.

It sounds like you had a wonderful time! I'm so glad :) Looking forward to hearing all about it at the knitting group.
