The new kid in town...

Today was "grand opening eve" for our newest local yarn store! It is VERY local for us at OTMP - we could go there on lunch hour and that is VERY dangerous. Even more dangerous for a certain someone (not me, I can resist) is the WALL of Malabrigo ;) I snapped a few pictures to commemorate the occasion. We arranged with multiple knit groups to meet there for some shopping and knitting then out for lunch. We even ran into someone I haven't seen in FOREVER, it was nice to see you R! Business appeared to be brisk for them, hopefully that will continue :) Welcome to Knit Schtick and L and R (the owners) we look forward to hangin' at your shop and getting to know you. You may regret being so kind and welcoming ;)

Ahem!!! You can't be talking about lil ol' me...can you?! The Malabrigo isn't even for me. It's for the little monster who keeps staring at his toes!

Wow, I thought this blog was dead! It's good to see it updated. We miss you up in North Orange. Are you going to the WWKIP festivities this Saturday?

I may have to check out this shop, although I've been doing a lot of shopping via Ravelry (almost seems like recycling to buy something someone else is trying to get rid of).
